There are many reasons, Balthazar. It's not always easy. For instance, what if someone who's moving away likes someone and they don't want to admit it because they know they're gonna end up going? Or what if they like someone but that person has a girlfriend/boyfriend already? Or perhaps, they think it'll never work? Or maybe they don't want to get hurt? The possibilities are endless.
