My classmates (all except me) went to horseback riding camp in Germany. I, on the other hand, got experience in the mountains and in the ocean. We all come back and I tack/untack/groom/put away my horse the fastest, not to mention am the overall best rider. :V

No, I'm not talking about my teacher. I'm talking about my classmate. :V

XD He was still standing there with his horse a full five minutes after I'd put mine away and fed him. Same when tacking up, he spent an extra 10 minutes because he couldn't get the tack right. On the other hand, I was first to finish tacking up, which surprised me since it was my first time while it should be his who-knows-how-many-eth-time.

He's really strict. I'm the best rider in my class which means I have to do a lot of work.

Speaking of which, is it wrong that I felt really good when I untacked my horse and lead it out faster than all my classmates and got to watch my lazy classmate's look of awe? :V

This is how I'm writing mine:

"Keep your foot inside the stirrup so in case the horse is frightened by the movement, you'll be able to keep balance and get it under control. Turn your foot outwards, away from the saddle. Take your hand (whichever hand is on the same side of your body as your leg) and (with your thumb facing the inside of the saddle), place your hand underneath....

Except horseback riding isn't exactly a class. :V

It's stuff like: "How do you tighten/loosen stirrups while sitting on a horse?" which is actually not as easy as it sounds.

He's really good though. And I probably should take notes.

It's called "I-have-the-strictest-yet-best-teacher-on-the-ranch-and-have-to-take-notes." I probably should do that before I forget.
