Along with chapter 903 of Detective Conan, an announcement was made that the manga Magic Kaito would be getting a full anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures airing October 4th. This will be different from the 12-episode specials that sporadically aired from 2010 to 2012 as it will air weekly and not borrow Detective Conan's weekly time slot. It is unclear how may cours the series will be. Scan of the initial announcement below in spoilers:

Edit: I figured out that the dates aren’t very precise. A few are better than others, but it can’t be helped I guess. Anyway, I’ve added all I could find. The translations are without context, so I have no idea if they’re correct or not; they’re also subject to change if I think up better ways to word them. One of them I couldn’t translate, I’ll post it at the end. Negishi-kun? The translation is something like “Aoko-chan could’ve let it out too… is what ?Negishi-kun? was saying.”.

I have been here the whole time, just no commenting on files. I have to update all my old theory stuff. Some interesting points about Sera being British have been brought up that are worth taking into consideration. I still have not heard convincing proof about the child being Sera's mom btw, but I haven't read all the latest theories.

While I happen to think that there's no such thing as "real value" (in an objective sense), I think I can see where you are coming from. It's one of things I noticed early on, as I was watching the first one hundred episodes or so: Shinichi never really delves in the philosophy of things. He has an incredible scientific mind, but he does not penetrate far beneath the mechanics of the cases he is involved in. He is dedicated to fighting crime, but he doesn't seem to ask why crimes occur in the first place. Of course, he is gifted at reading people and deducing individual motives for crimes, but it seems that he neglects to read the hereditary-environmental factors which produce the criminals in the first place. Were he to focus on analyzing the structure of his society, he might arrive at insights that go beyond mere facts. This could enable him to address the causes of the effects rather than the effects proper. In other words, he could preempt crimes rather than solving them. But that wouldn't make for a good detective show, would it? One might go so far as to say that Shinichi has what Michael Crichton used to refer to as "thintelligence," in that he is competent at manipulating facts but does not perceive the deeper implications of those facts--that is, the implications that extend far beyond the immediate context. But I'd say that's a little unfair. For one thing, figuring out how criminals exploit objects and the surrounding environment often demands exceptional creativity, not just a good memory. And hey, he's still only 17 years old! To be sure, one can think profound thoughts at an early age, but maybe it's too early to reach a verdict on whether his intelligence is wasted on him or not. I'd give him 10 years before I reach mine.

I'm pissed that the AyumiXConan thread is much longer than this awesom pairing thread! I LOVE CONAI SO MUCH THAT I'M GONNA SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOF IF I HAVE TOO~~~~~ Come on! You can't deny that their chemistry is much higher and better than ShinRan or AyuCon or whatevr other pairings you stuck Shinichi/Conan with! ShinRan moments are just plain mushy while AyuCon moments are less mushy but childish and not as great as AiCon moments. I totally ship this pairing! They ROCK! I remember writing a ShinRan fanfic. It was so much headache as they are not anything like a real couple! It really gives me headache to actually just see this pairing moments. The moments are too innocent and that kind of innocence only belong in lalaland and don't exist in the real life. AyuCon pairing moments are just.... I dunno. can't explain it cos I don't feel anything when I see them. It just seem like normal friend-friend interaction and I can't agree with anything that IHKF like to say about AyuCon. It's just so weird and I never come across such weirdness before. Of course, DC is the only manga and anime that I know off that has the main character as two ages and hence he has so many suitors, all from different ages. But I still love AiCon. Their moments are still the best. It's realistic and it's build on what a relationship needs most- trust, friendship and a mutual respect and understanding. I think they have more of this than any of the other Shinichi/Conan pairings that I have heard off( that includes AL's ShinichiXKazuha pairin ). They are really suited for each other and I have no idea why so many people (points at IHKF) is so against AiCon! So AiCon FTW!
