Tropical Land (トロピカルランド TOROPIKARU RANDO?) is an amusement park which was the site of the last date between Shinichi and Ran, before Shinichi was forced to take APTX 4869 by Gin and Vodka of the Black Organization. The park is built in what is now considered a standard layout: guests enter the park into a central hub which then splits off into other themed areas radiating out from the center. Notable appearances of Tropical Land within Detective Conan include The Roller Coaster Murder Case, The Revival of the Dying Message, and Captured in Her Eyes. This location was first introduced in the Magic Kaito manga.

  • Mystery Coaster (ミステリーコースター MISUTERII KOOSUTAA?)

  • Ice and Mist Labyrinth (氷と霧のラビリンス Koori to kiri no RABIRINSU?)

Themed with ice and penguins, this attraction looks like a giant ice mountain and has a spectator's area at the top. The main ride is similar in appearance to a bobsled course and its ice slide follows the mountain down to the bottom. Each cart can carry four people at a time. Conan uses the track on this attraction to help him get to Dream and Fairytale Land quickly using the Turbo Engine Skateboard during the climax of Captured in Her Eyes. There was a similarly named attraction at Mirapolis in the Wii game, The Mirapolis Investigation.

  • Steel roller coaster

The actual name of this attraction is unknown. This roller coaster doesn't have any inversions. Conan uses the track on this coaster to help him get to Dream and Fairytale Land quickly using the Turbo Engine Skateboard during the climax of Captured in Her Eyes.

  • Pyramid stage show

The actual name of this attraction is unknown. This attraction appears to be based off of "Lost Legend" found in the Shima Spain Village amusement park.[1]

  • Amphitheater

A location for stage shows.

[edit] Wild and Ancient Land

  • Steel roller coaster

The actual name of this attraction is unknown. This coaster's unique feature is the inclusion of an underwater tunnel partway through the ride.

The actual name of this attraction is unknown. This Ferris Wheel's unique feature is the lights on it that flash in many different colours and shapes.

  • Inverted-type roller coaster

The actual name of this attraction is unknown. The animation staff for Captured in Her Eyes rotoscoped an actual inverted coaster known as the "Pyrenees" located in the Shima Spain Village amusement park.[2]

[edit] Defunct attractions

  • Dragon Coaster

A steel-roller coaster with inversions and a tunnel that seems to have gone around the entirety of the Dream and Fairytale Land section of the park. Kaito clings on to the coaster while making his way back to the Captain E.T. show before Aoko notices he was missing and went to perform a heist as Kaitou Kid. This attraction is missing on the current map of Tropical Land in Captured in Her Eyes so it is presumed to have been removed, however it is very similar in appearance to the Mystery Coaster, so it's possible the coaster was moved and re-themed.

  • Captain E.T.

A 40-minute 3D movie attraction that parodies Captain E.O. from Walt Disney World and E.T. featured in Magic Kaito. Kaito uses this movie to distract Aoko while he slips out to perform a Kid heist and return before the movie ends.

  • Mystery House

A haunted house similar to the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World and Disneyland that appears in the Magic Kaito manga. Actual location is unknown, but likely found in Horror and Fantasy Land.

  • Sea Restaurant

A seafood restaurant for guests to eat at featured in Magic Kaito. The location of the restaurant is unknown.

  • Bumper cars
