No variables extension?

I'm trying to add variables as to make it easier to expand the code to include hours, minutes, and seconds, but it seems I get an expression error when I do so. This is either, I'm typing the syntax incorrectly (would appreciate it if your could point out where) or there is not variables extension on this wiki, and I'm presuming its the latter.
