Koichi Sasaki (佐々木皓一 ,Sasaki Kōichi^?) is a Japanese screenplay writer, storyboard artist, and technical director. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime.

Biography

Koichi Sasaki debuted as technical director in the animation work Mazinger Z (マジンガーZ) in 1972.

Sasaki joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 1999, starting with Episode 138: The Final Screening Murder Case (Part 1); in the same year, after directing Episode 160: The Legend of the Mysterious Five Storied Pagoda (Part 2), Sasaki quit the production team and has not returned yet.
