Monster Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 Dr. Agasa "More like coins before cats"...... What does this phrase "Coins before cats" means...... It comes in the ending when Chiba asks Neiko weather she was the one who gave him a ticket a while ago and everyone gets shocked....... :-)
Chekhov MacGuffin Posted February 20, 2013 Report Posted February 20, 2013 "Gold coins to a cat" is nearly identical to the English phrase "throwing pearls before swine". A cat has no interest in gold coins, so throwing gold coins to a cat is a futile action or a waste of resources. 1
