Basilisk? or Shinobi: Heart under Blade?

Has anyone of you already watched the anime series BASILISK?

or already seen the movie SHINOBI: Heart under Blade?

well, they're both from the original manga series Kouga Ninpouchou Basilisk or also known as basilisk.

Both the anime and manga series are great. (though I haven't finished reading the manga series yet.)

Although the anime follows the original manga almost exactly in storyline, there are a few slight differences, I can tell you.

The story is about the old rivalry of IGA and KOUGA clan. In battle of whose the real grandson of Tokugawa Ieyasu and who will become the next shogun. The deadly competition between 10 elite ninja from each clan unleashes a centuries-old hatred that threatens to destroy all hope for peace between them. Also mixes with a love story between the heir of IGA clan, Oboro, and the leader of KOUGA clan, Gennosuke.

I was amazed with this anime solely bcoz of the storyline, of course!

as well as their amazing ninja skills and techniques. :grin: :grin: :grin:

One of them named Kagero - poison specialist. Poison flows within her veins and she is able to breathe poison at enemies or poisoning them with a kiss. (like poison Ivy :grin: )

there's also one ninja girl from kouga clan, (forgot her name though), she has a representation of a leech. she can suck all the blood from her enemies. Like in one of the scenes, she was threatened to be raped by one of the Iga's ninja, she then pretended to be helpless then suck all the blood in him! :shock: :shock:

Ive watched the drama movie Shinobi. Its wonderful! I love the actress! XD I forgot what's her name but she's really famous XDDD and beautiful XDDDDDDDDDDDD
