  1. My name is Atsuro Kihara! It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I've been a fan of Detective Conan for quite some time now, but I took a long break from the series. After returning it's hard to remember what i've seen and what I haven't (I skipped quite a few episodes in my youth) so I elected to begin from the start. I just finished episode 302, but i'll do my best to catch up! (I'm quite certain i've seen all but the latest movies though..) I'm still reading the study in scarlet, so i'm a bit earlier on the Sherlock Holmes side-- but i've watched quite a bit of the older sherlock holmes series. (Not SHERLOCK, but rather, the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.) [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086661/] I highly recommend this series to anyone who has read the books and wants something true to them, or anyone who would rather the show but doesn't want something fluffed up and modern. Gamewise I basically play Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Shin Megami Tensei, Legend of Heroes, Fire Emblem and sometimes Dragon Quest or Dark Souls. I've been meaning to get into the Legend of Zelda as well. Anime wise, aside from my subjective favorite detective conan of course, my top three would have to be Serial Experiments Lain, The Legend of the Galactic Heroes and The Tatami Galaxy. Death Note and Code Geass were my next favorite when I was a bit younger, but I feel like LOTGH is a better CG and TG/SEL are just well written shows with legitimate character development and mystery. As far as novels go, besides my desire to read more of Arthur Conan Doyle's works, I basically read the works of Brandon Sanderson. He's probably the best fantasy writer out there, since his books have more meaning/depth to them than i've seen in GOT or LoTR. [This is an opinion.] I plan to become a Software Engineer, an Indie Developer and a Writer. I may also end up going into robotics or A.I. instead of basic Software Development. If I end up retiring early, I might end up going to law school and becoming a lawyer just for fun. My life philosophy is Stoicism. It's changed my life when I was going through a hard time. If you're interested in the philosophy of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius or the politician Seneca the Younger, I suggest you look into their works. (Anything By Marcus, Seneca or Epictetus will be great!) Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope we can have a long lasting friendship!
