    Well, we can rule out some of the people

    Definitely not

    Jirokichi - face pinched

    Nakamori - face pinched earlier but never left the scene. Also his face was slammed into the glass.

    Probably not

    Kogoro - He wasn't coming so there would be no Kogoro to tie up in the bathroom. Also his face was slammed into the glass. Nakamori who isn't kid searched him pretty well too.

    Ran - touched the glass of the tank bare handed right after the carpet thing.

    That leaves Sonoko and Sera.

    Sonoko's behavior seems typical. Meanwhile Sera seems think she is a man, being surprised that Ran and Sonoko would want her in the same body search group (end of page 7, beginning of page 8). "She" also blushed as the girls pat her down. (Kid can apparently blush through masks. He did so when he was Ran in Volume 16 file 8 page 6. Don't ask me how, it's probably artistic shorthand for emotion that would be too hard to draw otherwise - even if it doesn't make any sense.) I think the girls failed to check under Sera's hat. Conan seems to have realized Sera's discrepancy at the end.

    Ran's cellphone seems to have not had a good signal which is why she moved away. Perhaps there was interference? The other thing is apparently the turtle's chain was iron, but Conan seems to wonder why it hasn't rusted. Maybe it has? If it really turns out to be a remote controlled robo turtle... well, it would be par for the course for kid cases. (glass gun redux)

    It could be either of them (Sera or Sonoko). Chapter 828, Sera needed to go to the bathroom. Sonoko told her to go the second floor restroom instead. Ran asked Sonoko when did she go to the bathroom. Sonoko said during the tour. Kid could be Sonoko in disguised while the real one is in the main floor bathroom. That's why Sonoko told her to use a different Bathroom.

    The Reason I would think Kid is Sera is. Because In chp. 829, Sera noticed the Winch in the Ceiling that was connected with the strings in the carpet. Usually when Sera notice something or give her opinion, she always states it and even though she sure of it. She always look towards Conan for conformation. Right Conan- kun Example: Chp. 828 with Sonoko's Can trick. Other than that Sonoko seem to be Kid.

    Well there are my wild guesses lol.

    But yeah. To add on.

    Chev. I didn't notice before about Sera being confused about being grouped with Ran and Sonoko. Now that I think about in Chp. 829 the mystery person was tied up in the man bathrooms (well at least their were guys exiting the restroom). Maybe Kid did think Sera was a boy.

    Only My Crazy Speculation

    I bet since it was just revealed in 823 Amuro know Ai's mother. I think he might hate Akai because of Ai's sister. She kind of got killed because of him. Meaning she stayed with Akai even though she knew he was using her. i.e. Getting her killed..(B.O. postponed her death because she was Ai' sister).....etc. Amuro had a "thing" for Ai's sister? I believe so.

    I think it is the lady with the coffee so I voted for Tsukihara Kaori. I bet Kogoro makes his extra hot then usual. So about time he gets done reading the paper it will still be semi warm. I don't know just guessing. I think warm up your coffee to twice the temperature would it make it hot longer. lol I'm weird. :)

    I honestly can say that I DID prefer the english dub version when it was on Cartoon Network. But since they stopped dubbing the series, I started watching with subs. As of now, I 100% believe that the japanese version is better. But cmon now, I bet like half of us began the show watching it in english, then transferred to japanese. :P

    I haven't even tried the English version so I can't really say, but part of the reason I watch DC is for its Japanese-ness. I love all the confusing riddles involving differing pronunciations and the like which couldn't possibly appear in the dub. In addition, dubs have the annoying habit of completely killing all the cultural references, which ruins a fairly important part of DC for me.

    I guess Japanese.

I figured even if 99.9 % of people on DCW doesn't like English Version of DC "Case Closed". Look at it on a more positive way. It just a show and I'm sure you all would like to share it with your family members. I pretty sure not everyone wants to sit next to you on the computer reading captions no matter how good the show is. Plus it isn't like you can buy it on dvd from japan (NO english sub, of course! :)). Therefore, why not.

    Unknown if anyone stated this before....

    But Anyhow With my constant random thoughts about, Whats Sera's connection to the BO?

    I remembering reading the Gosho interview posted on the forums.

    The contents of the interview... said something about Sera and Ai being like wolves (Correct me If I am wrong).

    I thought about the term Vermouth and the other members referred To Conan and Akai as "sliver bullets". What is said to kill wolves-------> Silver bullets. I think Sera has some type of connection to the BO.... Maybe like Ai, Former member, Family was part of the BO. So adding to her possibly being Akai's sister. (I know that was already stated).... hmm...

    Anyhow Why did Carmen recognized/ thought Sera Looked familiar. When he been working behind a desk, ever since he unknowingly revealed to the BO who Akai really was (Mentioned in the Clash of the RED/Black Episodes {I believe}).... Also Carmen felt it was important enough to mention it to Jodie and James....etc.

    Akai wouldn't have left his sister without protection, he is not like Kir. Its strange, James knew Sera was a girl, It seems too easy. I Hate cliffhangers!!! That's why she isn't in the next Manga case.

    I like both names, but i like Cased Closed name because it leaves an option open for Conan to turn back to Kudo and keep the series going, whereas Detective Conan doesn't. Detective Conan tells us more about the series itself. Either way both have a nice ring to them. :grin:

    I agree, on given room for Conan to turn back to Kudo. I like both names more or less though.

    I like them too! I don't really have a favorite, but if I had to choose, it would be either 'The Cat Returns' or 'Tales from Earthsea'.

    These movies resemble the dreams I get every night... weird, right?

    I seen tales from earthsea and I just finished The cat returns the other day.

    Anyone seen the valley of the wind........... good one

    Look, all the reason that you guys stated why you prefer the dubbed or subbed, they are all true but SO WHAT???

    The name change is not annoying, the Funimation have to change it because of copy right law. And the name in English are cool, I like them!

    Since English is my first language, I like it better! I have no obligation toward Subbed but I think subbed is annoying. Why? Because the expression, since I don't understand Japanese, all the changes of expression sound the same to me and it is NOT cool!

    Dubbed are just cooler!

    To all you guys out there who English is their first language, admit it, you like the dubbed better! Easier to understand too! You guys are just ashamed that the Funimation cut the dubbed episode right through

    I now know, I personally prefer the English Dub, because how I think about it is when I re-watch Detective Conan Movies. I always watch movies 1-6 in English Dub than reading it in english sub. "If the English Dub is available, of course."

    OVA 10 talks about Kaitou Kid and now, OVA 11 talks about Haibara Ai's past!!! The name of this OVA is “A Secret Order From London” (I think because her mother is British). Okiya Subaru will appear in this OVA (how sweet, I think he's really is Bourbon) Well, I can't waitttttttt!

    Just posted the above link for the new FUNimation website, which of course means a new interface. It has an area for reviews and thoughts on the show and acts kind of like youTube. Thought I would post this here so that everyone here can drop their two cents onto the new forum board dealing with the "Status of Case Closed" and "Reviews" of the show at large.
