Don't go that far, Stopwatch. There's a line between the Muslim religion and Al Qaeda that the States have been mixing up for years. Ever heard of the supposed "Muslim law requires their believers to die with non-believers" rule? It's false. Muslims are quite angry that they've been mixed up with this entire business. It gives them a bad name and many conclude that Osama bin Laden was not a true Muslim. May I ask why?

Here's my explanation: Eastern grip has the racket facing downwards, which makes the ball much lower (much safer than Western grip), but the chances of it going over the net decrease and the force at which the ball is hit is usually less. It's more commonly used by, well, Easterners. Western grip has the racket completely straight. It's much better for attack (while Eastern is more for defense) but the chances of the ball going out increase. Most people try to aim for somewhere in the middle. A good idea if you use Western grip is to try to get the ball to have “top-spin”, as it is called by my coach, which makes the ball spin forwards. It's a really safe method if you do it right, because the ball tends to go in the court, even if it seems like it's gonna go out. It bounces fairly high and can also catch people by surprise. Slice is also fun to use, but you'll probably learn that later on. Do you want me to help? I have a mild headache right now. Bothering me.
