    I'm actually hoping this will happen. Ran and Shiho meet for the first time.

    The live action of DC when they met is pretty much what I wanted to happen but I want it in anime and canon too.

    Anyways to answer your question if they meet for the first time if Shiho is with Shinichi at the time Ran will probably be jealous. But since Ran is a nice person she probably can feel that Shiho is someone she knows and be friendly with her. There is probably some seriousness atmosphere I think will surround it

    Could it be that another side effect of APTX 4869 is that even you return to a child form over time your body grows weaker and get sick??? If the mystery girl took it long time ago then it is possible that her being sick or weak was another cause of APTX.

    Time is important in a story if we could only know... ????

    she seems like another victim APTX but I wonder how long and does Akai know about this?

    If the mystery girl is related to them then the more they should be targeting Haibara since she's the creator of APTX.

    I still don't know what Sera's motives for getting involved with Conan, whether revenge for his brother who she thought was dead or to get the antidote. It also a mystery on how they are seem to be familiar with each other.. Ran, Shinichi and Sera.

    So true... Gosho has stated in an interview that he wanted Ran to be a "strong" character, but instead, she's become the "damsel in distress". Sonoko's a bit more independent than her, and no matter how annoying she could be sometimes, I feel like she's a better character than Ran.

    ... I can't tell if you're AiCon or not xD

    Anyway, I'm a ShinRan, but that doesn't change the fact that Haibara beats Ran anytime in terms of character.

    Im either way. Character wise I'm a Haibara Ai fan.

    Haha, it's fine :P. I wish that they adapted the entire manga, not just going to Season 2. I really wanted to see their marriage and what they did with Usui's parents.

    Although Ai/Shiho is my favorite, Ran character is also great.

    It's just peoples taste and preference on what kind of character they want.

    In the beginning of DC I'm all about Ran, she's perfect for Shinichi no other girl is suited for him but Ran.

    But when they introduce Ai it caught my interest because of her background and attitude that makes me curious. Then I just saw a possibility that this female character also was suitable for Shinichi even they don't have the same kind of passion as Ran and Shinichi have.

    Its also frustrating to be on the side in which you know that you can't win.

    Ran was great as it is Gosho should just come up with a story that makes Ran more interesting.

    Lol sorry, I can't help it they are such a lovely couple that they needed to be mention.

    I just wish that they should have continue the anime. Season 1 was great but the story after that till the end in the manga was even better. It will be great for a Season 2.

    I have a lot of favorite anime but so far my top 5 are:

    (Not in order)

    1. Fuushigi Yuugi - one of the classic love story anime for me. I believe this was my first romantic anime I've watched.

    2. Inuyasha - I love the action and of course Kagome and Inuyasha love story.

    3. Clannad - the most saddest, heartbreaking anime story I've ever watched that really captured my heart. Its a good cry story.

    4. Kaichou wa Maid sama - Very Romantic, Cute and Funny. It's a story in which I hold on to the happy feelings longer that I got from it.

    5. Detective Conan - Suspenseful, it was the anime that I am very curious about.
