This game will work like a quiz show. Volunteers will answer questions that are of varying difficulties and point levels.
The "matchup" on this thread will vary from 1 on 1, team battles, team knockout, etc.
Match-ups:
1 on 1 (Match) - It's like it sounds. 1 against 1 in the battle for 1000 points. In here, each player gets a chance to select 100, 200, or 300 point questions. Kinda like a game show.
1 on 1 (Duel) - It's like it sounds. 1 against 1 in the battle for 1000 points. Unlike a Match, in a Duel the Game Master in charge will randomly give out questions. First one to answer correctly wins. In here, the Game Master chooses the amount of points a question is worth.
Tag Team (Match) - Like a 1 on 1 (Match), but with 2 against 2. Oh yeah, the objective is 1500 points.
Tag Team (Duel) - Like a 1 on 1 (Duel), but with 2 against 2. Oh yeah, the objective is 1500 points.
Team Battle - Team against another team in the battle for 2000 points. Teams alternate taking turns selecting 100, 200, 300, or 400 point questions.
Team Knockout - Teams take turns challenging a member from the opponent's team. The challenge follows the rules of a duel: A Game Master gives a question, first one to answer wins. However, if one loses a challenge, they will be eliminated from the team, and the round. The round ends when all of one team is eliminated.
Game Master Challenge - A lucky player goes head to head against a Game Master. In a Game Master Challenge, there is no theme so a player must be ready for anything that comes their way. In here, a Game Master and the player both have 1000 points. The Game Master asks a question, if the player gets it right, the Game Master loses 100 points, if the player is wrong the player loses 100 points. First person to reach 0 points loses.
You may request a specific matchup for a match, but no guarantees that we will accept...
Rules:
NO search engines. We can't stop you from doing this, but please don't do this. Honor code, please.
NO using DCW's handy wiki or any other wiki. Again, honor code.
NO spamming. This should be straightforward.
NO complaining. The Game Masters's decisions are FINAL.
Do NOT ask if you can be a Game Master. I will appoint you if I feel you can be a great Game Master.
Yes, we have a challenge system in place. If you feel our answer is wrong, you may challenge us, and only then. You may not challenge a previous question, or any question from a previous round.
If you answer the question wrong, other person gets it.
If two people answer at the same time, and are both right/wrong, we will redo and give another question.
Please volunteer at appropriate times, i.e: When a new round is announced, not times like in the middle of a round.
Have fun. This is a game, after all!
When a new round is starting, one of the Game Masters will tell that. You can volunteer to be in the next round...
Game Masters are essentially the moderators of this thread. Of course, they can't do the cool stuff real moderators can, but they can impose stuff.
Game Masters are the ones who can give questions out. They can also suspend or ban a member from the game, and can also un-suspend and un-ban a member.

Each round will have questions from a specific "theme". The theme will be given at the beginning of each round.
We're still tinkering this out, so please be patient! Thanks!
