Vermouth is talking in the phone with Gin. Vermouth pass on the information Bourbon come across, which are Sherry is hiding in Gunma and to travel on the Bell Tree Express, a train own by Suzuki family. Vermouth also recount her encouter with Conan and her promise to let Sherry go. She justified herself by having Boubon do the job and ask Gin not to interfere before the train reach its destination.

The group (exclude Agasa) went there and witness a suppose murder incident. A masked man with hood shooting Etsuto Murobashi. They run after murderer, but he got away.
Later, they ran into a train conductor, and learn that the quiz is suppose to happen an hour later. Conan, with a shock expressin, run back to 7B only to found out that Ran, Sonoko and Sera was there instead, and to complicate thing further. Ran's group tell them they're in 8B. It seem that after the murder happen. Car 7 disappear out of thin air.
Meanwhile, Haibara who's slightly behind Conan group, follow them half-heartly, show a strong reaction when Scar Akai appear out of a room without her having to look. But Scar Akai, who dress in slightly different custume, does not notice her and walk on to opposite direction. Haibara only caugh a glimps of him.
