It'd be an outright lie if I said Detective Conan was my childhood. It wasn't. However, it was a seed that sowed into my thoughts slowly. In India, the Hindi dub version was laughably bad and all the 'inside' jokes were cut. In the end, broadcasting of Detective Conan was permanently halted. At that time, being not so familiar with the internet, I didn't find sources to search for anime.  I just watched whatever came on the TV. No particular taste at all.

Seven years later, I stopped watching all those repetitive anime/cartoon episodes on TV and, with limited time to fulfil my child-like imagination, I took to the internet. That's when I found my long lost anime fandom. Steadily, I was being pulled into the story and now, all those episodes that took several years to make, was watched in a few months. I'm glad to keep the thought of this great anime and story in the mind and happy to contribute to the growing of the fandom.
