AJ M. is one of the newer members of DCW who deliberately browses through forums during his free time. A die hard Detective Conan fanatic, he has watched every episode, movie, OVA, and special there ever was; as a result, he joined the DCW community to further discuss with other fans about this popular series. Since Heiji Hattori is his favorite character and the one he can relate to most, AJ took on the role of becoming DCW's Hattori Heiji. He is also known and admired for his fantastic drawing and breath-taking coloring skills, whilst remaining humble about his artistic ability. Although he has constantly deals with studying, schooling, and other pastimes, AJ is relatively active on DCW (posting on an average of about 13 posts a day).

Personality

AJ is generally kind-hearted and welcoming to members, but at times, he can be argumentative when he feels there is something DC related that is worth debating about. When he makes an argument, he puts forth his best effort to back himself up and to support his claims. AJ is never influenced by others to change his opinion on certain subjects. He will stick to one side and will remain on that side no matter how many members are against it. In the aspect of honesty, AJ will be upfront about anything necessary.

He can be quite a humorous guy who loves to laugh and to make other people laugh. AJ can also be very sarcastic at times, but not to the point of being arrogant and rude.

Overall, AJ is a pretty positive person who is determined to overcome any obstacle that comes his way. He focuses more on the now and future, rather than dwelling on the past. When others are feeling upset, he will sympathize with them in order to lighten up their mood because he hates seeing a DCW become depressed.

Background

AJ was born and raised in the state of Texas. He is 100% Filipino, but unfortunately, he can't speak the Philippines native language: tagalog. He was raised by two fluent tagalog-speaking parents who never taught him how to speak the language during his upbringing. Therefore, english is his first and only language.

Interests

Drawing

Drawing is one of AJ's main interests and hobbies. He always loved drawing anime ever since he was a little boy. As of now, he is still learning the ways of Gosho Aoyama's drawing style, but he has gotten the hang of it for the most part. He just needs to work on his proportions a slightly bit more.

Coloring

Coloring is a talent that AJ naturally has. He knows exactly which parts of a drawing to shade and highlight with little margin of error. He uses images in his head to create graphical 3-D drawings.

Pokemon

Pokemon has always been of interest ever since AJ was 5. After being introduced to him by his sister, Pokemon never failed to amuse him. Nowadays, however, AJ is unable to play any video games due to the fact that studying is more important for him (when he's not on DCW, that is).

Debating

Debating is another pastime for AJ on DCW or in school. He loves to put forth a great argument and to prove points he is trying to ensue. AJ M. and DCW member Kyuu have a reputation of having extensive arguments over DC related subjects.
