Takahisa Taira (平良 隆久 Taira Takahisa?) has provided stories for the Detective Conan Special series as well as written eight of the Detective Conan novels. He worked with Mutsuki Watanabe and Takehiko Hata to write the adaptations of the Detective Conan dramas.
