Hisashi Nozawa (野沢 尚 Nozawa Hisashi?, born January 18, 1956 and died June 28, 2004) is a Japanese screenwriter, mystery novelist. He used to write scripts for Detective Conan movies.

He was born in a city called Nagoya, in Japan. And graduated from Nihon University College of Art Ekoda Campus, film department. In 1985, he made his debut with V. Madonna Great War and Kill me...

Moreover, he won numerous awards for many times. For example: He won the Kuniko Mukōda Prize in 1998 for his screenplay A Sleeping Forest (眠れる森) and The Night Before the Wedding (結婚前夜). He also won the Edogawa Rampo Prize in 1997 for Dotted-line Malice (破線のマリス) and the Eiji Yoshikawa Prize for New Writers in 2001 for Crimson (深紅).

Nozawa only served as the screenwriter of movie 6 of Detective Conan.

Nozawa hanged himself at home on June 28, 2004, at the age of 44.[1]
