Michitaka Yamamoto (山本 道隆 Yamamoto Michitaka ) is a Japanese animator. He does key animation, animation director, and sub-character designing in Detective Conan anime and movies.
Works in Detective Conan
Yamamoto has been an animator among the industry since 1988. He first did in-between animation, then began doing key animation in 1989, and became an animation director in 2004. He usually follow Azeta Pictures for animation production.
Yamamoto joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2007, starting with The Devil of the TV Station, and served as animation director already. In the following year, he started to represent Azeta Pictures and worked as animation director under the episodes done by the studio, until present. Apparently his drawing level is quite steady in Azeta Pictures, since Yamamoto has also started to participate in the production of the Detective Conan movies under the name of a freelance animator in recent years.
