- Movie 14, The Lost Ship in the Sky, will be released on DVD in Japan on October 8th. View the ad banner here!
- Next week, 7/28, there will be no new Detective Conan chapter in the latest issue of Shonen Sunday. Then, the week after that, on 8/4, there will be a double issue with one Detective Conan chapter. Then on 8/11, Detective Conan will take another one week break.

- Latest new episode: July 17, 2010: Episode 581: The Red Trembling Target. An episode based off of manga Volume 67, Files 7 and 8.
- CORRECTION: The newest OPENING song has been announced. It is sung by Mai Kuraki, and will be titled "Summer Time Gone". It is the 29th opening song in the Detective Conan franchise. The single will be available for sale on August 31st. source.

- Gosho Aoyama took a small break from writing the manga to "go on vacation to gather data", and his next chapter of Detective Conan appeared in Shonen Sunday on July 11th.
