Asami Tsuburaya (円谷 朝美 Tsuburaya Asami) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan. She is the older sister of Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya.

Background
Asami Tsuburya is Mitsuhiko's older sister. Her parents are both school teachers. She took piano lessons. Not much else is known about her.
Personality
Asami was shown to be very cheerful and enthusiastic. She was not worried when Mitsuhiko disappeared and was actually pretty excited, because she thought it was like a TV drama. She speaks politely (addressing her mother as "Okaa-sama instead of Okaa-san) because her parents are strict about polite speech.

Relationships analysis
Asami seemed to consider Mitsuhiko a cute younger brother, as she calls him "Mit-chan".
Name origin
Like her little brother, her name comes from Yasuo Uchida's reporter character Mitsuhiko Asami (浅見 光彦 Asami Mitsuhiko).
