how did you get introduced to the series ?

i've know conan as being my first anime to watch, although i didn't know what was an anime at that time and thought of it as a cartoon instead

anyway i was watching spacetoon when i was a kid (arabic kids channel) and they were dubbing it to arabic and broadcasting it on their channel, i think they stopped around 300+, a shame really since the dub was excellent, for the people who don't know, DC is very popular in saudi arabia!

but sadly not as much as before...

so when were you introduced and how popular is the series in your country ?
