I disagree. Your personality is always portrayed in some way or another. It may be slightly different (person is more outgoing or something like that), but it'll still shine through. Someone who is incapable of showing much emotion is gonna have a hard time remembering to hug people online.

And I still recommend you post your gender. It gets...weird sometimes if you don't.
