Parkur got me hooked on Madoka. It's awesome. And regarding Fireworks, it's an expensive Adobe (those two words go together
) program that creates/edits vectors and also edit bitmapped images. It's a pretty high-end program, so unless you're in a field that requires computer art (like me, I'm in web design), don't get it.
