I see..
You get reputation if someone gives it to you.. That is, if they agree with what you wrote in a post, then they can give you a reputation (for short it's just rep. Easier to say, eh? 
). We don't give reps to people for no reason, cuz you have to earn it to get it. Though some people seem to forget that. =/ Anyway, hope it helped.
