Yumi Sekizawa (関澤 祐美 Sekizawa Yumi) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background
Yumi Sekizawa attends Teitan High School 2nd year and is a classmate of Ran, Sonoko, and Masumi. She is the younger sister of a renowned model. Their birthdays are only a day apart despite a 4 years-gap and have been celebrating them together ever since they were kids.
Personality
She is a mature girl, even more than her sister. With the high-school trio girls, she is shown very bubbly. However, when she is with her sister, she behaves like the older sister. She mentioned that she loves cake. When she was being interrogated by Megure and Takagi, she frequently hid behind her sister. This shows that she is unusual with crime scenes and are scared and nervous if she is involved with it.
Appearance
She is an average height girl. She is similar in height to Ran, Sonoko, and Masumi. She wears glasses and has short blond hair in the manga, but later change to red in the anime. Her hair is a bit wavy and reaches just below her neck. She is very similar in terms of appearance to her sister, except for her hair.

Plot overview
Ran, Sonoko, and Masumi are seen buying a photobook of her older sister at a bookstore. They talk about it with her. She invites the three to the two sisters' birthday party, with Conan tagging along at Ran's request. While at the party, they meet her sister's acquaintances. They are her manager, a pastry chef and her former classmate, and a hair and make-up stylist. Later, a groan and collapse sound by the stylist was heard while a video of the sisters was playing by a projector. He was found dead due to poisoning, soon after the lights were turned back on. They are all suspects, but the murderer is revealed to be her sister's manager.

Remi Sekizawa
Yumi considers Remi as a lazy and scatterbrained older sister. She helps her clumsy and forgetful sister whenever she needs something and is usually annoyed because of her behaviour.
Ran Mouri
Ran and Yumi are both classmate friends. Ran is also a fan of her model sister. When she was declared as one of the suspects by Masumi, Ran asked Masumi to leave her out.
Sonoko Suzuki
Sonoko and Yumi are both classmate friends. When she was declared as one of the suspects by Masumi, Sonoko, same with Ran, asked Masumi to leave her out.

Masumi and Yumi are both classmate friends. Despite declaring her as one of the suspects, she respects Yumi and did so just to follow the procedure, since she was acquainted with the victim.
