::Oh man, too funny. I'll get to work on getting a good picture of him in the anime. That reminded me of what a classic episode that was. I love Kogoro trying to prove that you can kill the person by running up the stairs, and then he gets so annoyed at Megure because he keeps complaining that he's too slow. :I have the entire thing, translated and scanlated, if you're interested in checking it out. The english isn't always amazing, but it's still an interesting read. Also, the whole case is a little silly... I think some stuff is interesting with that manga, like how some of the cases were used in the anime, and there's another B.O. story involving a person named Arrack, which I haven't found yet. They're actually REALLY hard to find, Conan Special mangas. Thanks man. I was going to do that part myself, but I got stuck trying to figure out exactly which "Maron" she played in Dragon Ball Z, as there are two different characters with the same name, and either way it would be a notable enough add. Heh, don't worry about those guys. It's actually very common to see lots of such wikis being created there. Some people like to create wikis just to "own" them. The same goes for DC as can be seen here: http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Detective_Conan, http://meitanteiconan.wikia.com/wiki/ and http://mai-tantei-conan.wikia.com/wiki/ for example. I do believe it's much better to host your own wiki however cause it's much more customizable and you can do so much more (you have full control of everything). As for a wiki like this one, you would need 2 things. A host which you can get pretty much anywhere. It'd cost something like $10 max per month. We use hostmonster.com here. The other thing is to get the wiki platform itself, MediaWiki, from: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki. Then follow the steps at: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Installation. Let me know if you have any issues or questions. :) --Maurice 17:31, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

It's happened a few times. There was the time in The Unsmashable Snowman, and there was also a time in an AO episode called The Mysterious Spring Beetle, which is the only Yamamura AO. Still haven't seen it, but I'm dying to see it subbed. I also haven't seen Cutlery of the Mountain Witch, but as far as I know Conan just uses Agasa. Also, this may not count, but Conan sent Yamamura a text message as Kogoro in The Sealed Western-style Window (Eisuke's second appearance,) and Yamamura just repeated everything the text message said. Great question. The article about Shinichi should definitely have a section dedicated to his obsession with Sherlock Holmes. Then, if you want to mention how Ran gets pissed at Shinichi for not caring about her being in London in the article that discusses Ran discovering that Conan may be Shinichi, you can link to that section in Shinichi's article for those who wouldn't understand why something like that would set off alarm bells in Ran's head. Welcome to the Wiki!

Hello and welcome to DCW! :D

I would like to join CarpetCrawler and thank you for the great work! :)

It's definitely awesome to see more people around and that also feel at ease editing wikis. Plus, you seem to know a lot about DC voice actors! I'm guessing you're from Japan? :P

Anyway, keep it up and see you around. --Maurice 00:05, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: Chiba, and a question

Hello! To respond to a query on Maurice's page, I am not too sure about Chiba's name use, myself, so I always say "Officer Chiba," in my episode article creations. However, I have seen Isshin used somewhere before, in the anime, but I'm not sure where. I think one of the Metropolitan Police Detective Love Stories had it, the one where a criminal uses him as their alibi. Also, thank you for finding out the information on voice acting! I have a question, do you also know all of the appearances for certain characters? I only began very recently adding Officer Tome to episode pages, because at first I didn't think he was a notable enough character, but then I figured this is a Detective Conan wiki, so why not add him? Unfortunately, I have only begun recently adding him to episode pages, starting with episode 235. Anything before that, I haven't really added any episodes he was in, unless I remembered anything, which I remembered very little of. Anyway, do you know of any appearances he made in episodes, BEFORE episode 235, and could you add them to the respective pages? Or at least tell me, so I can add them? Any help is appreciated! :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 00:34, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh... OK! Thank you anyway.^^ By the way, how did you find this wiki? Just wondering. :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 02:15, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Yayyy! I am happy to see another Sango Yokomizo fan. :) And I agree, ever since Sonoko and Makoto became a couple, she has become one of my favorite characters in the show. I love when she refers to Shinichi as Ran's "husband." xD And yeah, Misao's voice is nicely done in the anime, even the english dub does a great job with his voice! So, you will mostly contribute to voice acting articles on this wiki? CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:27, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Not yet created characters

Hello! I see you have been adding characters whose pages haven't been created yet. I've decided to move those characters onto the Characters section talkpage, and I will make a checklist, of which you can feel free to add any characters that need to be created. Thanks! :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 18:04, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for that! ESPECIALLY the manga stuff, which I had no clue on. However, Tome appears much earlier than episode 75, so I have removed that. I know that he is in episode 51, in fact it is one of the few episodes where he has more than one or two lines! LOL. Either way I will definitely find out Tome's first episode sometime in the near future. Thanks for your work! What is the Detective Picture Book article you created? Is it a work by Gosho or something? CarpetCrawlermessage me 18:10, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh wow, cool!^^ That's awesome and a good thing to add. So are you planning on doing anything else today? CarpetCrawlermessage me 18:16, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: Next Conan's Hint

Great question... I don't know. Maurice is in charge of the infobox stuff, I think it would be a great idea to ask him.^^ Keep up the great work! CarpetCrawlermessage me 13:35, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I added a section to the InfoBox for it. You'll also notice that there's a new "voice-cast" section to the InfoBox as well. It's actually a great idea to have a list of voice cast for each episode! The episode page however should mainly focus on the plot and case at hand. That's why I thought it would be more appropriate in the InfoBox instead of a separate section on the episode's page. Let me know how that sounds to you or if you have ideas you'd like to share. :)
As for the next conan hint, I was thinking we could improve it a bit eventually by adding a "show/hide" link just like for the voice cast section and it would show an actual image of the "hint" followed by the hint itself (instead of just displaying the hint --in text-- as it is currently the case). If you agree and are up for it, feel free to upload an image of some "next hint" and add it to the next-conan-hint parameter of the corresponding episode and I'll do some experiment with the template to see how it would look with the show/hide link instead. Again, ideas and feedback welcome there. ^^ --Maurice 03:59, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Regarding Yaiba, I think it's ok to have one page per character (without an InfoBox though) and that would be it: it would be a great way to introduce the reader to another creation of Gosho Aoyama but without going too much in-depth (it's a Detective Conan wiki after all). As for a separate page for Conan, that's something we've been thinking about for a while now. I think it is a good idea and will eventually be done. It just hasn't been at the top of our priorities currently since having both Shinichi and Conan on the same page seems to work for now. Also, we might need to do the same to the Shiho/Ai page to be consistent (i.e. make a separate page for each). But yeah, that's definitely a good idea! --Maurice 17:04, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Manga

No need to apologize, I also thought it was something that had to be done. So, should we saying "Anime exclusive" if it is a filler episode? CarpetCrawlermessage me 16:08, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm... an icon for that? That would be something I have no idea on what to pick. That is more up Maurice's alley.^^ I am happy to see that someone else agrees that Conan needs his own article. I will create it tonight, OK?^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 16:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Awesome, sounds like a good plan. By the way, do you have any other friends who would be interested in contributing to this project? CarpetCrawlermessage me 16:18, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
I added a "Manga source" section to the episodes lists on the Anime & Seasons pages. If it's an Anime original, just type in "manga-source=original". I also renamed "Original manga" in the InfoBox to "Manga source" because I thought the word "source" better captured the type of information we're trying to convey. Plus, it'd be weird to see "Original manga: TV Original" or "Original manga: Anime exclusive" for some of the episodes. Feel free to suggest changes of course. :)
It was indeed a good addition by the way! --Maurice 16:38, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Cast InfoBox

I just created an InfoBox for the cast members behind the series. You can see the different available parameters at Template:InfoBox Cast. For an example, check out Minami Takayama. I was just wondering if you had suggestions or ideas as to what other parameters would be useful to have. Maybe something like "Number of voice appearances"? Cheers! :) --Maurice 18:48, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Azusa

Episode 207 was her real debut? Oy oy, then I guess I completely didn't even bother to notice her until 350... so, would you happen to know of her other appearances between 207 and 350? That would be a BIG help for me. Thanks!^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:30, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

OMG AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! PLEASE tell me Tome has a page on there, too? CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:44, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Ohhhh I wish I hadn't looked at that website... there are SO many Sango Yokomizo episodes that haven't been subbed yet! I counted like 8+ or so! And there's even a decent amount of Misao Yamamura episodes... come on fansubbers, get those Sango episodes done! T_T CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:55, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Awesome, keep up the great work! I was wondering on how to do the categories, actually, so I am glad to see that someone is working on that. I did a ton of work on Eri Kisaki's page. Tomorrow I will check that website out and update some episode pages, especially for Azusa and Tome appearances! CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:09, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Voice Actors and Yaiba

Simply do "Upload a new version of the file" like you did before but make sure to press F5 afterwards to see the change (to clear the cache). You may also do so on the page that file is being used so that the cache gets cleared there too. As for me, I can see the new version you uploaded correctly. :) --Maurice 05:09, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

It's alright. :P Just thought I'd make it a bit bigger so that we can have a better look. So I'm guessing you've also read the Yaiba manga? Is it as good as DC? :o --Maurice 05:34, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Agasa

Don't worry about it, I will make sure to watch closely when I watch it myself, which should be soon.^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:26, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Nihongo

I have created lead paragraphs for Azusa, Shizuka, Yoko, Araide, Hakuba, Jodie, Heizo, and Detective Toyama. I know you like doing the nihongo for characters, so I figured I would tell you so that you can go ahead and add the nihongo for each. :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 17:10, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

I also created Eisuke's article, so feel free to add his manga debut, VA info, heck, any info. :) CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:10, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Yay!! :) Keep up the awesome work. If you would like to do Eisuke's bio, as well, then by all means go ahead and do it. ;) It's actually quite fun! That reminds me, I need to heavily update Shiratori's article, which is horribly outdated... CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:19, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry about the character pages. I'll take that responsibility.^^ I can get good screenshots/head shots, as well. Go ahead on work on Takagi, if you want. :D He's one of my favorite characters, on some days probably my all time favorite! You cannot help but root for him!!^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 14:11, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Shiratori

Many thanks for updating Shiratori's page. I desperately need to update his page, and that really helps me out!^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:45, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Yui Uehara or Torada?

For Yui's name, should we put in Uehara or Torada? Since her husband died, I guess Torada shouldn't be used anymore, and Inspector Yamamto called her Uehara often. CarpetCrawlermessage me 16:12, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that's what I figured. I heard they both make an appearance in the manga, again, talking to Haibara and Agasa. I also heard that they're in the 13th movie! So I guess they're going to officially make semi-regular appearances, like characters like the Yokomizo's, Yuminaga, and Misao Yamamura. Yay! :D CarpetCrawlermessage me 16:17, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

RE: Shiho

While I agree with the idea of Conan having his own page... I do not recall when I ever said that Shiho needed her own page. In fact, I strongly am opposed to such an idea. Maybe Maurice told you that he thought it would be a good idea? It's better to just add a "Shiho Miyano" sub-section to Haibara's page, like as it is right now. Also, Conan used Eri to solve a case during the eighth movie. He was trying to shoot Kogoro, but due to the turbelence of the airplane, the stun gun watch accidentally hit Eri, thus, he had to use Eri to solve the case. CarpetCrawlermessage me 07:17, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Awesome! Good idea to go and create that article.^^ So what are your current plans with this Wiki? By the way, soon I will be done with all of season one,, and then just have to do a few of season four, so soon you can go and start doing the voice actor list, the manga/TV original, and Next Conan's Hint for all of 'em.^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 20:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, sounds good! Right now I will work on creating articles for the three episodes in season one, and the three in season four. I gotta get out my DVD's!! CarpetCrawlermessage me 17:24, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Kansuke Yamato

ARGGHHH!! Thanks for the fix. I shouldn't have screwed that up. >.< Oh well, the image file name will be the incorrect file name, since this Wiki cannot move the name of a file like you can move the name of an article. But anyway, thanks for the fix. I have also created Subaru Okiya's article. Later today I may also get Inspector Yuminaga's article done, as well as Yui's article done. Let's see what happens. CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure about that, myself. I'd ask Maurice about that. IMO, I'd go with chapters, but I can see how that could be a more tedious task a little... CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:52, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
On second thought, wouldn't going with "cases" seem a bit more organized? Also, do you have instant messaging? CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:58, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
I'm not the one in charge of ordering...^^' Oh by the way, all of season one and season four's episodes are finished, so if you were doing the voice cast stuff in order or episodes, you can go ahead now.^^ Keep up the great work! CarpetCrawlermessage me 02:33, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the help on tidying Conan's page! I've heavily expanded Stranger in 10 Years, and other than needing screenshots, it may be the first Conan episode article that is near completition, which I am very exicted about.^^ But if you have any contributions to it, then go ahead and add them.^^

Genta's Dad?

Never knew he made an appearance in the show or manga. Does he do so in the future? CarpetCrawlermessage me 03:59, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Akemi

Many thanks for helping me out with Akemi Miyano's page. ^^ It's wonderful to see that character bio's are being worked on, now! CarpetCrawlermessage me 03:20, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Awesome! ^^ I don't know who I'll work on, next. Maybe I'll finish up Akemi's profile? Then I may move onto Haibara's. I still need to badly update Shiratori's profile, lol. CarpetCrawlermessage me 03:58, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

NOOOOOOOOOOO

[1] Worst news ever. T_T CarpetCrawlermessage me 15:29, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

He erased the contents of that specific blog? I really hope that is a good sign... CarpetCrawlermessage me 15:38, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Kobayashi

Yeah, I know, but soon I will create her page. Right now after I finish getting the titlecards from episode 63? to episode 1, I will go back up starting with 130, and start getting her appearances between that and 2006, because for some odd reason I didn't begin counting her appearances until really late in the episode article making that I have been doing for this Wiki... ^^' And during that timeframe I will try to find a great picture too. I created Misae's because I had that episode on my PC so I figured that I would get it all done with. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 20:08, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

RE: Suspicious Ran

I cannot make any guarantees that I can find them all, but give me a few minutes and I can get you a quick list. CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:03, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Once-A-Month Present Threat Case, Distinguished Family's Consecutive Accidental Death Case (Thanks to idiot Heiji mostly. :D It's not much suspicion though,) Caught Up With the Great Detective! Two Murder Cases!, The Desperate Revival, The Weird Family's Commission, Ran's Suspicions, and movie 3 The Last Wizard of the Century. CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:16, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
I think that was the Once-A-Month Present Threat Case... was there where Conan opened up the jack-in-the-box and freaked out? There was also another episode where at the tail end, Kogoro wondered if Conan had known all along the murder, and was trying to egg him into figuring it out himself. However, he changed his mind. This was the episode titled, The Mystery Weapon Murder Case. I'm not 100% sure myself... CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:33, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Yay, Genji!!

Sure thing. Today I got a picture of Tequila. By the time you read this message his page should be done. :) Getting to work as we speak! CarpetCrawlermessage me 01:51, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Kobayashi

OK, I FINALLY finished getting the titlecards to episodes before 130, so I can move onto episodes past 129, and move onto finding a good picture of Kobayashi. How are you doing? CarpetCrawlermessage me 20:23, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Chiba

As I've said before, I have no idea on if he's REALLY called "Isshin Chiba" myself, so I've also always referred to him as "Officer Chiba" whenever I do episode articles and such. I think we should keep it as "Officer Chiba" personally, and not "Isshin," which would require that a few of the images would need to be re-named. I'm all for re-naming his as "Officer Chiba." CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:15, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to go ahead and change his name to Officer Chiba right now, and fix all file names. CarpetCrawlermessage me 23:29, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Alright, sounds good. ^^ Glad to see you'll be doing more voice acting pages, and voice cast pages! I have changed all of Chiba's stuff, and now he is once again referred to as "Officer Chiba." CarpetCrawlermessage me 23:39, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm also ok with going with Officer Chiba instead. Like you both said, there are no actual evidence of him being called something other than Officer Chiba in the show. So, this change is cool with me. :) --Maurice 00:21, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Kobayashi is live (Finally!)

Feel free to add the japanese stuff, voice actor stuff, manga stuff, anything you'd like. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 01:49, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, Kamiya's replacement has been announced. [2] thoughts? CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:39, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Agreed, it isn't bad. I was expecting a whole lot worse, and it's actually pretty acceptable. Yeah, I know, I will also think of him voiced by Kamiya, but this will not be a rough transition. Did you hear that the anime is going to air a filler two parter featuring Heiji? CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:36, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Awesome, keep up the great work! :D I look forward to the voice actor pages, I like seeing other characters people have done. Are you going to create pages for every character's voice actor? For example, even people like Kobayashi, Azusa, Tome, and Yumi? CarpetCrawlermessage me 15:59, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Genji's page is now live. Feel free to do whatever you'd like with it. :) Per your request, I even got a picture of him without his glasses. CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:38, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Discussion

Hello! I have a proposition that I would like to make, that is available here. I would love your input in the discussion. :) Thanks! CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:03, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

RE: Characters

Camel, indeed, and probably Ethan Hondou, too. Then probably Yaiba. I do them in whatever order I can get a screencap of them, so we'll see whom I can get, next. I might ask for a RAW of 218 so I can get a screenshot of Midori Megure, just so I can get that done. CarpetCrawlermessage me 07:26, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Also, just wanted to let you know that you haven't yet done the kanji for Misae Yamamura and Numabuchi. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 07:31, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Kaitou Kid Appearances

I like that idea, but to me it'll get confusing when it's certain more obscure characters, like Sango Yokomizo or Yusaku Kudo, who only appeared in one part, or something. It'll be especially hard when it's Ran Mouri or Kogoro Mouri... CarpetCrawlermessage me 21:45, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, exactly. It'll be tougher for certain people, but guys like Ginzo Nakamori will be completely easy to figure out like that. Originally, we had it set so that instead of an article for a while case, there was an article per episode, like episode 126, 127, 128, but then Maurice changed it because then it would get too messy, which he had a good point about. I actually prefer the episode pages the way they are right now. It does make the Appearances thing a little cockeyed, but either way I like your idea with Kid's page. CarpetCrawlermessage me 21:52, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
That's where I find a flaw in Maurice's current version of the Appearances, because Camel would only have ONE appearance! Four stories, however? I know he appeared in that murder case where he was a suspect, he made a cameo talking to his wife on his cell phone, and then he had that major role in transferring Hidemi Hondou out of the hospital. What's the fourth? CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:07, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
I actually see no problem at all in breaking it down by episodes and parts. :) I remember how we were actually debating about this with CarpetCrawler lol. I also think it would be more accurate eventually. So, no problem there. It's all good if we break down cases into episodes instead. --Maurice 22:26, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Yamato and Yui's second appearance is in the Red Wall case, right? That one is coming up in the anime, actually. It's going to be a four part case. Can't wait to see it, since I don't read the manga yet. And that's good that Andre Camel and Jodie make an appearance! I assume it's in the B.O. arc that occurred just recently? CarpetCrawlermessage me 01:55, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Camel's Appearances

Hey, would you also be able to create Andrel Camel's appearances page, as well? It will make it much easier for the future. I'm close to his episodes in my current titlecard work! ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:45, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Awesome!! Thanks for that. That really is a huge help. Say, I had a question, on his page, he's in two random files inbetween the Clash of Red and Black! arc, and the arc that will air in the anime soon. What are those two files? I don't remember him being in any other episodes in DC... And MASSIVE kudos for figuring out Kazuha's anime appearaces. Of the other characters, Sonoko will probably be the hardest to figure out, of the ones we've done so far, so if you need any help, feel free to ask me. CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:08, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I had meant files 677 and 679. Are those the ones with Akai? But the thing is, those files appear about 20 files earlier than the mall case, which I assume is the B.O. case that should be coming up soon (I think we'll see that case in the new year.) I don't read the manga, so it'll be a little confusing for me... by the way, I went ahead and fixed Yusaku Kudo's appearances, though I may have missed something with the Desperate Revival arc, so if I missed anything, feel free to add it. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:18, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
OMG, so we're going to see Jodie and Camel in two different cases? Freakin' AWESOME. I'm also game for more FBI. Thanks for the clarification. And I know for a fact that Yusaku appears in the last part, because it shows him proposing to Yukiko, but I don't remember if he appeared before that. Either way, that's why this is a Wiki, something in which anyone can edit, so if anyone knows they can simply correct me. CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:29, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Once again, thanks for the clarification. OMG I cannot wait!! ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:41, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

RE: Koumei

Thanks man. I don't really know his backstory. Was he mentioned in Yamato's first case? CarpetCrawlermessage me 07:59, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm... so is he a rival of Yamato, or a friend? Sounds interesting! CarpetCrawlermessage me 08:04, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
For Megure, the article is Juzo Megure, but he is more commonly referred to as "Inspector Megure," so I simply made Inspector Megure re-direct to Juzo Megure if someone were to click on it. I would guess that the article would be created as his real name, but in most places, he would be referred to as Koumei, and the wikilink will lead to the page with his real name. CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:59, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Inspector Momose

Other than that case, I don't remember him appearing in any other cases... I think there should be a page where we list all of the one time Inspector's and Detective's, like Momose, and the guy from The Bay of Revenge, and episodes like that, with a picture and brief mention of their appearance. But that I don't think will be until further down the road. CarpetCrawlermessage me 03:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Oooohhh wow, he did? That's pretty cool. Continuity and all. Well, maybe he'll get an article, then. However, I don't remember him from any other case before that. There aren't a lot of pure robbery cases in the show. CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:14, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Chaki?

When does Chaki appear? CarpetCrawlermessage me 01:58, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Great eye. I completely forgot about him. I guess we should mention as well that he's Nakamori's senior. CarpetCrawlermessage me 02:36, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Translation

Hey Ryou, I remember you saying that you were involved in releasing manga in english. Are you a good Japanese translator? CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:15, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Ah, cool! I'm doing the same thing, except for Conan episodes for a fansubbing group. ^^ Was merely wondering, as skyechan and I have a project idea that would be great publicity for this Wiki. One of the chapters of Magic Kaito has never been translated, for some reason, and we'd love to get it translated and released, as something released by this wiki. I might know of other translators, but would you be up for helping me edit the translations, if we do get them? CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:07, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Great, I was actually hoping you'd do text file edits, as someone else will be adding the text onto the scans, we'll merely be editing translations. ^^ I figured I'd take half and you'd take the other half. So far, this isn't official yet, just something I've been thinking of. Soon I'll see if we can get this done. Thanks!! CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:14, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Your thoughts

Your thoughts are very appreciated at the following topic. Thanks! ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:23, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Takashi Matsuo

WOW! How did you find that? AWESOME! I never knew that! You should add some of that info into the article for the episode, as well! ^^ GREAT FIND!! CarpetCrawlermessage me 09:10, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Wow, great eye! That's actually a really interesting fact. I wonder why it wasn't as well known. Either way, excellent discovery. ^^ Say, by the way, how do you like the Wiki's new look, as well as the site's new look? ^^ *If the Wiki still look the same, go to Preferences, "Skin" tab, and then go to the "DCW (default)" option and make that your new skin* CarpetCrawlermessage me 09:27, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh man, too funny. I'll get to work on getting a good picture of him in the anime. That reminded me of what a classic episode that was. I love Kogoro trying to prove that you can kill the person by running up the stairs, and then he gets so annoyed at Megure because he keeps complaining that he's too slow. LOL CarpetCrawlermessage me 21:42, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Ethan Hondou

I created Ethan Hondou's article if you want to take a look. CarpetCrawlermessage me 05:50, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the fix-up work on Ethan Hondou's page. I'm going to spend most of tomorrow and the day after downloading the whole Clash of Red and Black arc, so expect to see articles on both Andre Camel and Rikimuchi Kusada soon. CarpetCrawlermessage me 09:08, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Camel! YAYYY

I've FINALLY created Andre Camel's and Rikumichi Kusuda's pages, so feel free to take a look. I love the picture I got for Kusuda. CarpetCrawlermessage me 03:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Generic

I created the article for Generic if you're interested in adding info, as I'm sure you know more about the Conan Special Volume's than I do. If I knew more info, I'd definitely create an article on it, and how some of the files were actually used in the anime. CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:47, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

I have the entire thing, translated and scanlated, if you're interested in checking it out. CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:58, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw the work on Yamato and Conan, and I love the work on Okiya's article! Great stuff. Should we create an article on Bourbon, by the way? Also, you have an e-mail address I can send the two parts to, or something? You could send me a PM on the forums if you'd like, or something like that. Or I could upload it to sendspace. CarpetCrawlermessage me 23:23, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Very true, at this point, there are a ton of different ideas. We have to remember that Aoyama has pulled this bait and switch before, with Jodie, Shuichi, and even Eisuke. OK, e-mail sent. And I hope you saw Maurice's message below this! ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 23:42, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Total Template

Alright. I just created the template for it: Template:Total chapters. ^^ --Maurice 23:37, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Kogoro Appearances

Sure, I'll get that done as soon as possible. It's much easier for that season because those episodes are so much more recent, so I'll remember if he only appears in one part of a case or so. CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:54, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Yuko

Thanks man. I was going to do that part myself, but I got stuck trying to figure out exactly which "Maron" she played in Dragon Ball Z, as there are two different characters with the same name, and either way it would be a notable enough add. It was bugging the living crap out of me, because I had no idea which one she was, so I got frustrated and just created the article... ^^' CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Indeed! And some of her other roles, including the one in Great Teacher Onizuka, are also notable, later I will add those. BTW, I also have photos for Gara Takashima (Eri Kisaki), Nobuyuki Hiyama (Makoto, and actually VERY VERY VERY famous for his work as ADULT LINK in Nintendo games since Ocarina of Time,) and Junko Noda (Eisuke), and I will create those pages soon as well. CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:04, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Cafe Columbo

Could you be thinking about The Forgotten Cell Phone? CarpetCrawlermessage me 07:10, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Bullet Train/Shinkansen Transport Case

Hey, do you happen to know when Shiratori appears in the Bullet Train Transport Case in the manga, or if he does? I have him listed as appearing in the anime version, I'm sure he appears in there, but the AGA search website doesn't have him listed at all. CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:28, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Wiki

What really sucks about that is that guy barely even touched the Wiki. It hasn't been looked at in like a year and a half. :-/ CarpetCrawlermessage me 09:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

The Late Gouri Daisuke

Sorry, I'm not going to be much of a help. I just usually get the gist of things using Babelfish or translating each item word by word (like I did for the Beika Map, episode titles, etc.). ^^; --skyechan

Oh, how cool, so that's what you look like. ^^ *friend requested you* CarpetCrawlermessage me`

RE: Sleeping Yamamura

It's happened a few times. There was the time in The Unsmashable Snowman, and there was also a time in an AO episode called The Mysterious Spring Beetle, which is the only Yamamura AO. Still haven't seen it, but I'm dying to see it subbed. I also haven't seen Cutlery of the Mountain Witch, but as far as I know Conan just uses Agasa. Also, this may not count, but Conan sent Yamamura a text message as Kogoro in The Sealed Western-style Window (Eisuke's second appearance,) and Yamamura just repeated everything the text message said. CarpetCrawlermessage me 06:40, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Asami

I created Asami Tsuburaya's page, in case you have anything to add to it, like name kanji and such. CarpetCrawlermessage me 08:35, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

A request

First, I wanted to say many thanks for working on Chiba's page. Secondly, would you be able to add the Japanese to movie 14's entry on the Movies page? Thank you! CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:02, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

RE: London

Great question. The article about Shinichi should definitely have a section dedicated to his obsession with Sherlock Holmes. Then, if you want to mention how Ran gets pissed at Shinichi for not caring about her being in London in the article that discusses Ran discovering that Conan may be Shinichi, you can link to that section in Shinichi's article for those who wouldn't understand why something like that would set off alarm bells in Ran's head. CarpetCrawlermessage me 21:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

RE: User Templates

Good suggestions indeed! I've added them to the Discussion page for anyone who may want to add to the list and/or create the templates. Maybe I'll do some myself in the future. --Maurice talk 20:09, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
