After reading the last page in the dairy, they realize the kidnapper plans to suicide in the bathroom and manage to save him. In the aftermath, Keita's mother does not push charges due to Keita's defense. Plot
After Agase's beetle breaks down in the middle of the mountain, Agase tells the Detective Boys that he would return to pick them up in a rental car within an hour. However, no matter how long they waited, Agase did not return and rain began to pour. With Conan's suggestion, the Detective Boys entered a nearby village. After Conan receives a call from Agase that he would be there in two hours, the Detective Boys decided to ask the person playing the piano if they could wait inside. However, the house had hidden secrets and when the Detective Boys realized that they had just walked into the house of a kidnapper, they knew that the culprit was after them too.
