Whereabouts about the injured policeman is given by Kazami in the anime, who states that he is recovering from an injured leg, while it wasn't stated in the manga what happened to him after.
The restaurant is originally a Donny's which previously appeared in the Detective Conan manga, but it is changed in the anime for Dondy.
