Police Academy Arc Wild Police Story CASE. Rei Furuya (警察学校編 Wild Police Story CASE.降谷零 Keisatsu Gakkō-hen Wairudo Porīsu Sutōrī Kēsu. Furuya Rei) is the 1077th episode of the Detective Conan anime and the 5th episode of Detective Conan spin-off Wild Police Story anime adaptation.

Plot
Story
The day where the police academy student gradute has come. Rei, Hiro, Matsuda is returning from convenience store, when they meet Hagiwara and Date, who have been searching for them because the ceremony is starting soon. At the police academy gate, they meet Sato and Yumi, who is admiring the Mazda RX-7 parked near the gate. Matsuda warned the girls not to touch the car, before Hagiwara come to calm him. Rei then ask if Sato and Yumi are interested in the police and say that they should watch the garduation ceremony.
During the ceremony, Matsuda explain that he helped Hiro taking a picture to be included in the letter he send to his brother. Matsuda secretly add stubble on the photo, which make the others react negatively. However, Hiro is impressed with the result, and the others realized that Hiro has changed. Later, there is a speech by the superintendent general. Hagiwara says that it is a big chance for Matsuda who want to punch the superintendent general, while Rei ask Hiro and Date to quickly hold Matsuda back. However, Matsuda says that he wouldn't punch the superintendent general like he is a kid, in a way that give the others impression that he is really a kid. The diplomas awarding then begins, with Rei as class representative.
Back to present time, Amuro is working at Poirot, remembering some wise words from his friends and their deaths while doing things. While cooking, he remembers Hiro. While calming down two customers who are debating about the broken glass, he remembers Date. While giving advice to Azusa who got hurt when she picked the broken glass, he remembers Matsuda. Later that night, he receives a message from Rum, so he decide to take a leave. When he sees his car, he remembers Hagiwara. In the end, he make a narration about himself while driving away.
