Nobuo Ogizawa (扇澤 延男 Ōgizawa Nobuo?), born November 29, 1956, is a Japanese screenplay writer from Hokkai. He is best known for his work on episodes of the anime Detective Conan.

He graduated from Waseda University. In early years, he studied under the famous screenwriter Narito Kaneko. Initially worked in TV Asah for planning work, later, under the recommendation of the producer Akira Koseki, he got involved in the screenwriting of tokusatsu Choujinki Metalder, he was responsible for the screenplay of the 11th and the 27th episode. As time goes by, along his hard-working effort, he became a lecturer at the Japan Screenwriters Union, he also got involved in the "screenplay writer training course" ran by TMS Entertainment.

His cases possess a strong smell of Social Detective Mysteries (社会派推理), and mostly revealling tragedy, corruption, households ethics... He currently has the highest number of Detective Conan TV Original cases written, despite his absence in the production of Detective Conan from 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
