Minami appeared in Volume 15 of the manga, in File 144-146. The story was made into Episode 81 and Episode 82.

In this episode, she appears with Shiina Nagano. Before waiting for a concert, Takayama is disguised because she is looking for Nagano. The Detective Boys then bump into her and realize that she is the famous artist Minami Takayama. She then tricks everyone with a man's voice and takes them to a restaurant. Then there is a strange person who has been using the phone for a long time. Then a while late, a person on the phone is looking for her, she then answers and it turns out to be Shiina Nagano. He tells her that he is outside the restaurant and asks her to go outside. After that, the suspicious person kidnaps her and the kidnappers demand the Detective Boys to deliver the bag belonging to Minami Takayama.

While the English manga retains her name, the English Dub of the anime renames her Korma Delorica and in keeping with her shared voice with Conan, she is voiced by Alison Viktorin.

She and her partner made a second appearance in the series in Volume 29: File 293, which was adapted into the two part episode "The 3 "K"s of Osaka Case".

She's also presented as the mysterious woman who voices Conan Edogawa in "The Mysterious Murder Plan (The Making of Conan)".
