Mina Otaka (大高 美奈 Ōtaka Mina) is a japanese animation director. She is an assistant animation director and an animator in Detective Conan anime and movies.
Works in Detective Conan
Mina Otaka started animation in 2009. She joins Detective Conan for the first time in 2016, in episode 831: A Cottage Surrounded by Zombies (part 2), as key animator. She becomes animation director for the first time in March 2017 in episode 854: Memories from Sakura Class (Shinichi BOY). She was last animation director in episode 930: A Woman Standing by the Window (part 2), aired in February 2019. She continued to be key animator in a few more episodes, the latest being the August 2021 episode 1015: Stakeout.
She participated in the 2016 TV Special Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small as animation director and was an animation director in a few movies as well, the latest being Movie 26: Black Iron Submarine, aired in April 2023.
She was contracted by Studio Lerche and Studio Hibari.
