Location: Road near Osaka's Nichiuri TV station, Osaka Victim: Ran Mouri and Kazuha Toyama Age: 16 years old (Ran) and 17 years old (Kazuha) Time: Afternoon Car involved: Yonekura's black Lincoln Navigator Culprit: Takeru Kochi Trying to escape police, Kochi drove Yonekura's car he had just stolent without his partner-in-crime Mihara since he was caught by the police. Since he didn't to stop his car, he nearly ran over Ran but she was saved on time by Fumimaro Ayanokoji who just happened to come by. Kazuha, who was walking with Ran, escaped getting ran over since Ran pushed her on the side.

Location: Road near Osaka's Nichiuri TV station, Osaka Victim: Takeru Kochi Age: 35 years old Time: Afternoon Cause of death: Explosion from car crash impact Suspects: Unknown After driving past Ran, Kochi sped but a taxi came from another runway and Kochi was forced to turn at his right and crashed into the nearby river. The unstable explosive inside the car caused it to explode an kill Kochi on the spot. It is believed by the police that the original target to be killed by the explosive was Yonekura and not Kochi.

The explosive used was acetone peroxide, just like in Kochi's car crash accident.

Location: Unnamed company warehouse near Osaka Castle Victim: Ryohei Suemura Age: 51 years old Time: Morning Cause of death: Bomb inside wooden box Suspects: Unknown Otaki comes to the filming site and brings Heiji and Conan to another case which just happened : Ryohei Suemura, an employee for the company which produces Kamen Yaiba vs. Gomera was killed when he opened a box of explosives (the same used in the previous murders) in an abandoned warehouse which was to be used to film some movie scenes.

Fortunately, he survived and has been brought to the police hospital to recover.

Location: Mansion in Kobe Victim: Old couple and two employees Age: Unknown Time: 10 years ago Robbed items: 120 million yen (approx. 1 million $ / 33.4 million ฿) Suspects: Isato Yonekura, Katsuji Ishizawa, Ryohei Suemura, Takashi Onda and an unknown person 10 years ago, four people robbed a mansion in Kobe and took away 120 million yen. Later investigations made it clear that the culprits were likely to be the four members of "Team Yonekura". While analyzing the proof that was on DVD, they find out that indeed the four of them were part of it but that there was a fifth member, the one who filmed the video.

The culprits who killed Yonekura were Takeru Kochi and Yoshito Mihara. Kochi was killed by a bomb planted by Isato Yonekura and that was created by Katsuji Ishizawa, who originally planned to kill Suemura, Onda and Yonekura for bullying. He was the mastermind behind the bombings and planned to kill his four accomplices in the robbery from 10 years ago. The fifth member of the group, who was targeted by Yonekura, is in fact Ishizawa's brother Koichi Ishizawa. Fortunately, Kazuha manages to deactivate the last bomb with her hair clipper.

• This marks Goro Otaki's first appearance in 200 episodes and Heizo's first in around 250 episodes.
• The case reveals that Kazuha actually likes the Gomera movies since she watched them when she was young with Heiji although this fact is not confirmed in the manga.
• Taiho Pictures is a pun to Toho Pictures, the company which produces the Conan movies.
