Nishimura (西村 Nishimura) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background
Nishimura is an inspector part of the Hokkaido Prefecture Police department and is currently in function. He has an assistant officer who looks a little like a spiky-haired Chiba. He recognizes the famous detective Kogoro Mouri.
Personality
He stays even tempered as long as the suspects cooperate, but has a tendency to yell if his authority is questioned or his investigation is delayed. He prefers to be straight to the point and doesn't like to make assumptions.
