Hisao Egawa (江川 央生 Egawa Hisao?), born September 13, 1962 in Tokyo, is a Japanese voice actor and narrator working for Aoni Production.

In Detective Conan, he voices Osamu Kenzaki (Detective Samonji), after Eiichiro Suzuki declined to reprise the role, but has also voiced minor characters including Detective Horita in his first appearance only. In Gosho Aoyama's first series Yaiba, he voices Kagetora and Professor Kanabo.

Biography

Hisao Egawa trained with Aoni Productions' acting school Aonijuku (青二塾) and graduated as part of the 11th class[2].

He later became specialized in voicing men of large stature[3]. He has also dubbed Western movies, and has become known as the Japanese voice for Dominic Purcell ever since Prison Break.
