Plot overview

The Truth Behind the Car Explosion Case (Anime: 150)

Her interview with Megumi Sakihara, a bombing witness recovered at Beika Central Hospital, allows the police to identify the bomber, Hiromasa Takahashi, and her ultra realistic sketch by itself is able to prove murderous intent by getting correct details other sketch artists may have missed. This alone allowed Conan to fully establish an otherwise impossible to prove intent.

Manga vs. anime

Sato and Tomokawa.

In file 267 and episode 205, one day when has a cold and is absent, it isn't specified if Tomokawa is male or female, and also in episode 322. However, in file 805 and episode 681, Sato asks the Detective Boys if they recognize the sketch that a policewoman with glasses had done of the suspect, Ryusaku Fuemoto, which proves the realistickness of her sketches and confirms her identity. Then, Chiba calls Sato out from the interrogation room, leaving her alone with Conan and the Detective Boys.

Trivia

  • She and her voice actress share the same family name "Tomokawa".
