Onimaru is a TV show superhero that isn't much popular. They decide one day to hop off the TV station escape. At the same time, Toma Katsuragi, the actor playing Onimaru, asks Kogoro to investigate the disappearance of the costume for him, but too late, as he is killed by Onimaru just a while later.

    Namco Bandai created a case for Detective Conan to solve on the Nintendo DS. In Detective Conan: Rondo of the Blue Jewel, players will investigate areas using the Nintendo DS’ stylus. Conan collects keywords when he pokes suspicious objects, which players put together to solve a mystery involving Japan and the Ander Kingdom.

    • An iPhone version of the game was made available during the celebration for the manga reaching 800 files. It was given away as a prize to 30 people.[1]
    • The game was later made available outside of the promotion for iOS and Android smart phones.
