15's Suffering (15の受難 Jūgo no Junan) is the 1085th chapter of the manga of Detective Conan. It was written by Gosho Aoyama, drawn by him and his assistants and first released in Shōnen Sunday #8/2022 on January 19, 2022 and has been published as part of Volume 102 on September 15, 2022.

Plot
Conan, Ran, and Kogoro are in front of restaurant Bal Masqué and arguing about being able to eat there with the front-door receptionist, who explains that the venue is reserved for a private event. They decide to look for another restaurant, during which Kogoro accidentally drops his keys while taking out his smartphone. Inside the restaurant, a masquerade marriage party is taking place, where men and women gather hoping to find potential partners for marriage while wearing masks over their eyes to stay anonymous.
Among the guests is Jugo Yokomizo, guest #15, who regrets attending the party. He went there to appease his nagging parents and brother who want him to settle down, but he considers it a waste of time. He thinks to himself that he probably not meet anyone he knows since he is in Tokyo whereas he works in Kanagawa. However, he is accosted by a familiar figure, Chihaya Hagiwara, guest #18, also a police officer from the same precinct. She removes her mask so Yokomizo can recognize her, causing many other attendees to admire her beauty. A waiter approaches Chihaya and asks her to put her mask back on since it is against the party's rules to remove it.
As men gossip about Chihaya's beauty, participant Anju Tomari, guest #24, observes the scene with annoyance. When Chihaya asks Yokomizo about his intentions regarding marriage, he blushes and asks why she is there. Chihaya explains that she is only accompanying her friend Shinobu Ooe, guest #16, attracted by the free admission and food for women, while men have to pay ¥10,000 for both. Shinobu notices Yokomizo's jacket is wet at the back. He explains he slipped at the entrance due to the rain and the expensive shoes his brother persuaded him to buy, but ended up not fitting well. Two other party guests, Ikuhisa Uedera, guest #31, and Genji Enzaki, guest #27, agree they also slipped due to the wet floor.
Later, the party officially begins. Women sit on chairs labeled with their numbers, and men sit in pre-arranged groups with women, engaging in ten-minute conversations. Jugo sits with Chihaya, asking if it is okay for him to be there, and she does not mind as she wanted to ask Yokomizo something anyway. Blushing, Yokomizo nervously responds, and Chihaya asks about what happened during the robbery case the other day. The inspector decides to make her change the subject and asks her her preferred type of men and Chihaya shares her experience with a man who was arrogant and reckless in love, reminiscing about Jinpei Matsuda. Itaru Kaburagi, guest #19, joins their table, expressing his admiration for Chihaya and bombarding her with questions about her hobbies, but she rebuts him by replying "motorcycle" to each question. Yokomizo notices Kaburagi's jacket is dirty at the elbow, suggesting he also slipped at the entrance.
Some time later, Yokomizo, Chihaya, and Shinobu are at the buffet, with Chihaya more interested in eating than engaging with her admirers. Yokomizo notices many admirers around the woman numbered 24. As the free time ends, guests are asked to write down the numbers of candidates they are interested in. The most popular women, #18 (Chihaya) and #24 (Anju Tomari), get to have another conversation with the men who also chose them. Yokomizo mistakenly writes down random numbers in hopes of being paired with Chihaya, whose number he forgot, leading him to be paired with #24 instead of Chihaya.
While waiting in the hallway, Yokomizo wonders why #24 chose him as he does not remember talking to her. Men are called into the room one by one, and Yokomizo eventually finds himself alone with a female staff member. He asks why the men do not exit from the same door they entered, and she explains that it is due to a previous incident where a candidate provoked the waiting men after his conversation. Yokomizo wonders how Chihaya is faring and if she might choose one of the other men just to get the free meal and rub it in his face. When it is his turn to enter the room with Tomari, he plans to simply nod along in the conversation, but he is shocked by what he finds when he enters.
Meanwhile, Conan, Ran, and Kogoro return to the restaurant to search for Kogoro's lost keys. Just as Conan picks up the keys, a scream echoes from the restaurant. The staff member rushes out, announcing someone has died, which Conan, Ran, Kogoro, and Chihaya overhear. Conan rushes into the restaurant and arrives at the room where the still-masked Yokomizo is examining the body of the deceased Anju Tomari, who has been shot in the chest. The gun with a silencer is wrapped in a plastic bag on the table in front of the victim. Yokomizo is surprised to see Conan there, while Conan asks about the masked man.

Trivia
- The title is a wordplay with Jugo Yokomizo's name, because the number 15 in Japanese is read as Jūgo. Plus, the participant number Jugo gets in the masquerade party is 15. Additionally, Chihaya is given the number 18 because it is similar to her name : 1 for "chi", meaning "1000", and the 8 for "ha" and "ya", which are two possible readings for 8 in Japanese.

- Sango appear in background both in manga and anime, but in different occasion:

- In the manga, Conan eavesdropping the suspect questioning is only shown at the end during Enzaki's turn. In the anime, it is shown since Kaburagi's turn.
- The events after Jugo slipped is changed in the anime, where the staff only appear to clean the glass shards after Chihaya remarks that Takagi is just likei Jinpei. In the manga, the staff showed up immediately before Sato asked Takagi about his foot.
- The scene and dialogue when two staffs pushing the food trolley is changed. In the manga, the male staff asked the female staff to take it back as dinner is canceled. In the anime, the staffs are both female, and one of them commented that the dinner is wasted.
