Biography
Ai Nakatani has been involved in the Detective Conan anime production since 2021, starting with Episode 1021: Rondo in Bad Company as a key animator. She became animation director for the first time in the Detective Conan anime in Episode 1032: Ran Mouri, The Model, thereafter also continuously worked as the role during the first-half of 2023, which seemed to had acted as a temporary substitute for Kosei Takahashi.
Starting Episode 1086: The Inauspicious Matchmaking (Part 2), the previously absent animator Takahashi returned to the Detective Conan anime production; as such, Nakatani stepped down from the animation director role.
