== Biography ==
Yurika Sako was originally a staff member of animation studio [[wikipedia:J.C.Staff|J.C.Staff]]<ref name=AT1>https://w.atwiki.jp/sakuga/pages/2122.html</ref>. Her first work was as in-between animation in episode 5 of anime series ''Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma'' in 2015. She would later complete in-between animation for episodes 7, 8, 11, 13 and 14 in the series. Sako would continue as in-between animation throughout 2015 and 2016, until being credited as second key animation for the first time in 2016 for episode 12 of ''Lostorage incited WIXOSS''. The next year, she is credited as key animation for the first time for the opening song of ''Schoolgirl Strikers''.

After being assistant animation director for the first time in 2018 and animation director in the same year, she would become known for the speed of her drawing<ref name=AT1/>. She lands her first major animation role in late 2018, becoming chief animation director for ''Million Arthur''. Some time later, she quit J.C.Staff and became a freelance animator. Her first participation in ''Detective Conan'' would be in late 2023, as she becomes an animation director for movie 27, [[The Million-dollar Pentagram]]. She is an animation director for 2024's ''Detective Conan'' movie as well.
