The kendo club of Yura Ikuei High School is one of the participating teams in the national tournament at [[Tohto Gymnasium]] in [[Tokyo]], representing the [[Tottori Prefecture]].<ref name="yura_ikuei_in_conan" /> In the [[manga]], their school banner can be seen shortly before [[Ran Mouri]] runs into [[Takeshi Onimaru]], to the left of her head. Since their name is still written as "由良育英高等学校", it's implied that the school never changed names or never merged with the adjacent schools in the world of ''Detective Conan'', which they did in 2003.
