In the summer of 2009, he appeared in the a cappella contest "Harmonep". He was recruited along with Toru Iwaoka, Taiki Kudo, Sota Hanamura and Hayate Wada on January 17, 2011, to form a boy band<ref>http://natalie.mu/music/pp/daice</ref>. Originally named "Blackout", "Da-ice" took on its current name shortly after formation<ref>https://j-generation.com/2014/02/da-ice-interview-2014/</ref>. Ohno has since then performed within the band as one of the two vocalists, along with Hanamura.<br />

He released his first solo mini album on April 3, 2019, and his first single on March 16, 2020, via digital download. On September 23, 2023, he released the song "Saa" (さあ), performed along with [[wikipedia:ja:池内ヨシカツ|Yoshikatsu Ikeuchi]].
