			Yorifusa Yamaguchi graduated from [[wikipedia:Chuo University\|Chuo University]] {{jp\|中央大学}} and was affiliated with [[wikipedia:Studio Hibari\|Studio Hibari]] {{jp\|スタジオ雲雀}}. After his graduation, he debuted in the anime ''[[wikipedia:ja:リトルツインズ\|Little Twins]]'' {{jp\|リトルツインズ}}, which was relased in 1992. After that, Yamaguchi directed an OVA animation work titled ''[[wikipedia:Level C\|Level C]]'' {{jp\|LEVEL-C}}, responsible for its manga adaptation; whereby he later gained experiences with respect to directing romantic-comedy animations, also comical children's animations.

			In 2003, Yamaguchi directed an anime series called ''[[wikipedia:Mouse (manga)\|Mouse]]'' {{jp\|MØUSE}}, and was apparently adapted based on a manga created by [[wikipedia:Satoru Akahori\|Satoru Akahori]] {{jp\|赤堀悟}}. Incidentally, when he served as director for a certain animation work, he usually hired [[wikipedia:Shigeru Chiba\|Shigeru Chiba]] {{jp\|千葉繁}} as the sound director, which enhances the comedy effect of his works.

			He died on April 11, 2020 at the age of 59 from an intracranial hemorrhage caused by a heart attack<ref name="depart"/>.
