 :To be perfectly honest, I'd simply nuke all the empty ones and let the redlinks be. The reason I didn't do that at the time was to let the now  banned user keep his work in case he wanted to upload later. It didn't happen. That said, the way you have been doing is good enough to justify not redoing what you have done already. It looks a bit ugly on the pages to have blank images, but wikis are honestly kind of ugly anyway and it's obvious the galleries are inactive. The most important thing is that [[:Category:Galleries]] and [[:Category:Case Galleries]] aren't polluted with blanks that can't be told apart from the real ones.
