But he only began to work as key animator under the episodes outsourced to [[Azeta Pictures]] in 2010. He only served as animation director for two ''Detective Conan'' anime episodes. They were the 2nd part of [[The Screaming Operation Room]] and the 2nd part of [[The Guardian of Time's Sword]], being [[Michitaka Yamamoto]]'s partner. Aoi then quit the production team after doing key animation for three other episodes after that.
