Heiji decides to prove his point by leading the group into the temple back to the staircase leading to the chastisement room. However, Heiji asks Kazuha if they are now ready to go home and both get ready to buy souvenirs. He had completely forgot to confess and Kazuha as well. 30 minutes later, the [[wikipedia:Hachiōji\|Hachiōji]] police arrives and Tontetsu is arrested. It turns out the secret room was built by a monk centuries ago to hide alcohol, as there were old sake bottles found inside.
