It was released in VHS on December 22, 1999.

			This episode adapts the Detective George's Mini-Mini Big Strategy's [[Gosho Aoyama's Collection of Short Stories#The Great Detective Appears!\|The Great Detective Appears!]] story from [[Gosho Aoyama's Collection of Short Stories]]. A girl is being chased by some mysterious men clothed in black. In desperation, she runs up the fire escape to a building and coincidentally finds a detective agency belonging to George Kirishima. George is no ordinary detective. He's extremely small, and able to stand on the girl's shoulder without much burden. When the mysterious men chase break into the agency, George helps the girl escape just in time using a secret trapdoor in his bathroom. Who are these mysterious men? Who sent them, and what is the girl's role?
