This includes hugging, holding hands, sitting in her lap (etc.), even sleeping in the same bed and having a bath together once which causes Shinichi/Conan to have a nose bleed. While still as Conan, Shinichi is able to keep other guys away from Ran, as seen in episode 6 when he tells a guy to never go near her and at the end discovered the chocolate that Ran had made for the guy was only a chocolate for celebrating Friendship.
