The Detective Boys are talking about Kamen Yaiba's new battle against the Mole Alien when they see three suspicious people near the riverbank. They are discussing about a "comet monster" as well as a "rain of blood", which intrigues the kids and after they leave, a blurry picture of the "comet monster" is left behind, which the kids pick up. They come to Conan to figure out who this alien might be.<br />
